The Role We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the excellence of our mobile and web applications.
This role is not just about testing; it's a calling for those who can harmonize technology and quality to create seamless user experiences.
What are we looking for?
5+ years in mobile application QA: Extensive hands-on experience testing mobile applications to ensure optimal performance and usability.
2+ years in web application QA: Proven expertise in identifying and resolving issues in web applications across diverse environments.
Last 2 years focused exclusively on mobile app testing: Recent hands-on experience with mobile app QA, showcasing deep expertise in this area.
Proficiency with Jira: Skilled in using Jira for effective issue tracking, test management, and project collaboration.
Expertise in API testing tools: Experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger, and others to verify and validate APIs efficiently.
Experience with Firebase: Familiarity with Firebase tools and their integration into QA processes to support app development and monitoring.
Testing Proficiency: Strong background in black-box, exploratory, regression, and smoke testing to cover all testing scenarios.
Exceptional attention to detail: A meticulous approach to identifying issues, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
High level of proactivity and energy: Self-motivated and driven to take initiative and maintain enthusiasm throughout projects.
Readiness for manual testing: Willingness to focus primarily on manual testing during the first 6–9 months of the role.
Collaborative mindset: A track record of working closely with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
Things we'll trust you with... Test Management: Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases, scenarios, and scripts.
Release Oversight: Manage app releases, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Quality Assurance: Perform regression and smoke tests to maintain application stability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product teams, and business units to ensure alignment and quality across all stages of development.
