Description: Mercer Portugal is seeking candidates for the following position based in Lisbon:Proposal Analyst – US MarketWhat can you expect?This is an Entry-level position in our Strategic Bid Center, where you will be working with senior Proposal Specialists supporting Mercer solutions within our US Investments business.
This position is directly aligned with revenue generating proposal/RFP client work and integral to Mercer's sales and revenue generation.This is a support role on a tight-knit team of strategic bid specialists.Your primary responsibility will be to provide proposal management support for our Investments business.You will work with sales professionals, client-facing consultants and Compliance to respond to prospective client questionnaires.You will have both remote and in-office work opportunities, as well as a clear path for growth.What is in it for you?Flexible work environment.Access to senior leaders within the organization.Culture of internal mobility and collaboration.A permanent contract and generous benefits package, including pensions plan, health and life insurance.For the initial 3 months it's required to work from the office.
After that, you can opt for the hybrid working model, which allows you to work from home 2 days per week.We will count on you to:Project manage proposals/presentations aligned with client requirements and company branding.Develop/drive internal work plans based on external deadlines and internal SLAs — and hold pursuit teams accountable.Leverage our response database (Qvidian) to complete drafts of proposals.Research/draft responses to proposal questions in collaboration with subject matter experts.Own master documents and incorporate multiple rounds of edits through completion.Understand Compliance guidelines and incorporate Compliance feedback.Ensure internal procedures and best practices are followed for each project.What you need to have:Education: BA/BS (preferably in business, journalism, marketing, English, communication).Experience: 1 to 2 years of project management experience.Fluent English level (C1/C2).Strong project management, writing and editing skills.Ability to manage competing deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.Close attention to detail, without losing sight of the bigger picture.Ability to work collaboratively and be driven by group feedback.What makes you stand out:Experience working in a Mercer line of business (Health, Wealth or Career).Prior project management experience with RFI/RFP/DDQs, regardless of industry.A thirst for knowledge and passion for trying new things.Familiarity with SharePoint, Qvidian or online bid procurement tools (such as Ariba).Mercer
