A Snapshot of Your Day

In Siemens Energy, projects could last from 6 months to several years and you will be the overall project manager for 1 or more projects depending on the complexity and volume of the projects.

You will have a close collaboration with the tender management department, as well as finance and procurement functions.

How You'll Make An Impact

You will lead the execution of electrical substation projects within the energy transmission sector. Your involvement in the project starts during the tender phase and it continues all the way through execution until the project is handed over to Services (Operations). Focus areas: Project management with full responsibility for operational performance.Monitoring and controlling of contractual, commercial, and technical project-related topics.Engagement and project team leadership to ensure project success by utilizing team members' abilities.Direct communication with customers and sub-contractors.Preparation and presentation of decision-making material for Steering Committees and Senior Management meetings.Overall QHSE, Contract, and Site responsibility. What You Bring Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, power systems engineering, or similar.5+ years of project management experience in complex energy projects (high voltage substations and/or FACTS).Experience with various construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC) and commercial understanding for cost and risk management.Knowledge of Quality and HSE management concepts and tools; customer-focused with international and cross-cultural work experience.Excellent communication and leadership skills; advanced IT skills including Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.Language skills in Portuguese and English; PMP or IPMA certification and willingness to travel are advantages.
