A Snapshot of Your Day: The Cost and Value Engineering (CVE) function is the driver of cost transparency and optimization for externally purchased material, components, and systems in the global Siemens Energy product portfolio.
As Project Manager - CVE Digitalization and Tools you will play a critical role in driving efficiency, innovation, and digital transformation within the CVE function in Procurement. Your responsibilities will span across various projects and initiatives as part of the comprehensive CVE Digitalization Roadmap.

How You'll Make an Impact: Lead and manage individual projects within the digitalization and tools program.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Ensure timely execution and successful completion of projects.
Digital Tools Development:
Development and implementation of selected tools.
Work closely with external service providers to drive tool development.
Strive for excellence in automation and workflow optimization.
Requirements Management:
Align with cross-functional teams and internal partners to understand project requirements.
Translate business needs into technical specifications for tool development.
Data Science and Programming:
Stay informed about innovative data science methodologies and programming technologies.
Leverage sophisticated data science concepts, including AI and ML, to enhance tool functionality.
Explore emerging programming languages and frameworks relevant to our projects.
What You Bring: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Data Science); and master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, PMP) is a plus.
At least 5 years of project management experience, preferably in digitalization or technology-related projects.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and external services.
Familiarity with data science programming languages (Python, R, etc.).
Proven track record in digital transformation, tool development, and implementation.
Familiarity with big data technologies, including AI and ML, as well as version control and deployment systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Comfortable driving change and influencing customers.
Relevant technical product knowledge and experience around CVE methodologies is preferred.
Curious, constant learner, pro-active and driven by results
Fluent in professional English is a must. Additional language, e.g. German/Spanish is a plus.

Additionally, you'll stay abreast of pioneering data science and programming technologies to define and ensure project outcomes.
