Job Description Addison Group is seeking a Profee Coding Supervisor for our client. This position is ideal for a candidate with strong experience in overseeing coding teams, offering mentorship, and providing quality assurance across multiple specialties. This role involves a proactive approach to managing a remote team, coordinating schedules, and guiding a team of coders in a supportive but straightforward manner.
Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of 20-21 remote coders specializing in Profee coding across multiple specialties, including Dental, Behavioral Health, Anesthesia, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, and Hematology/Oncology. Facilitate team communication, oversee team scheduling, and organize team huddles. Provide technical expertise by answering coding-related questions, utilizing resources to support the team. Conduct quarterly performance evaluations and support continuing education by providing access to CEUs, relevant literature, and certifications. Oversee and support coding platforms including Allscripts, Optum Encoder Pro, SharePoint, and OneNote. Qualifications: Active certification from AAPC or AHIMA is required. Strong leadership skills, with an ability to provide constructive feedback in a direct and clear manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in working with team collaboration tools such as Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams. Soft Skills: We're looking for a professional who can communicate effectively, is team-oriented, and isn't afraid to provide constructive, straightforward feedback.
Position Details Number of Openings: 1 Compensation: up to $45-$50/hour for candidates. Work Hours: Monday - Friday; start time between 6 AM - 8 AM Arizona Time. Start Date: Anticipated start date within 2 weeks. Training: Comprehensive training, including shadowing other supervisors and team leads. Interviews are conducted virtually and can be scheduled as soon as possible.
