Product Specifications Specialist

Currently, we are positioned as a top-ranked innovative player in the supply of added-value ingredients for the food and beverage industry, focusing on fruit preparations, plant-based dairy alternatives, liquid flavours, and other specialty ingredients.

We are looking for a Product Specifications Specialist for our RDI department in Maia.

RESPONSIBILITIES


Product specifications management, ensuring the legal compliance of finished products and applicable certifications;
Maintain appropriate documents and information for internal and external customers;
Ensure high-quality information regarding characteristics, safety, regulatory and specific claim requirements and customer expectations and service;
Provide expert advice on food legislation for customers, sales, procurement, RDI, and production ensuring that these are in line with current state of knowledge;
Finished product certification.


PROFILE


Academic degree in food technology or similar;
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in similar functions;
Proficient in English (mandatory) - other languages would be a plus;
Good written level in German (mandatory);
Results orientation, proactivity, and problem-solving ability;
