Procurement Specialist - Corporate Mission In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing Procurement & Contracting activities for Galp, looking for cost-effective deals and developing long-term relationships with vendors and contractors in the corporate area. You will be highly capable and adaptable, able to develop sourcing strategies for different categories of spend and deliver value and improved operational performance, with a focus on safety and risk management. This exciting opportunity will enable you to challenge yourself personally and professionally as an integral part of Galp's Global Procurement & Contracts Team. What You'll Do Analyze data and prepare procurement strategies; Ensure that responsiblesourcing is prioritized in the sourcing strategies; Negotiate contracts to achieve the best value; Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities; Develop effective risk management strategies for key suppliers and key contracts; Undertake value-for-money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements; Align with business objectives; Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders' networks; Keep up to date with trends, innovations, and regulations that can impact business. What You'll Need Academic Background in Engineering, Economics, or Business Management; Complementary training in Negotiation; Strong analytical skills and goal-oriented; Proficiency in English; Excellent networking and negotiation skills; Result-oriented and problem-solving skills; Good computer skills from the user's perspective; Good communication and interpersonal skills.
