About this opportunity
As a part of the Procurement team assigned to the data centre construction project, you will support a full range of related services.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Services and OFCI equipment procurement & contracting strategy development
Strategic Sourcing
Development of pricing mechanisms
Optioning and cost benefit analysis
Cost forecasting
Preparing contract documents and drafting terms and conditions
Collating invitation to tender packages
Development of selection and evaluation criteria
Managing tender clarifications / returns and down selection process
Negotiation and award of contracts
Oversight of subcontracting arrangements and procurement planning
Business case and stakeholder management support
Contract oversight
Ensure contract compliance and oversee assurance process
Draft and issue project correspondence on behalf of the client
Contract management
Claims preparation and assessment
Change control and variation management
Subcontracting strategy, oversight & approvals
Pro-active commercial risk management
Lead Project meetings as appropriate

About You
Who we're looking for:
Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
Technical knowledge relating to Procurement, Cost, Supply Chain, and Commercial Management - ideally both pre- and post- contract.
Experience in construction industry. Direct experience in data center construction is a plus.
Previous experience of providing sourcing, procurement and contracts management support to large scale construction programs and projects.
Should have knowledge of international construction industry standards and practices.
Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills
Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work as part of a team.
Fluency in English. Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
Qualifications
Engineering degree or technical education in construction-related field
