Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Software Validation Lead / Quality Assurance Lead to join our team. As a Validation Lead at Forvia Software Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the software we develop is bug-free, safe, and performs well under all necessary conditions. You will need previous experience in software quality assurance for car infotainment App development, the ability to work directly with car infotainment systems, and knowledge of automotive regulations. Proficiency in English and French is mandatory, and knowledge of German is a plus.
Key Skills:
Test planning and strategy development, including early-stage planning.
Proficiency in both automated and manual testing methodologies.
Experience in performance testing to ensure optimal app performance.
Strong debugging skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Expertise in creating automated test suites using tools like Cucumber, Selenium, Robot Framework, or other automation frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation scripts.
Automated UI and API testing using tools like Selenium, Robot Framework, SOAPUI, Jmeter, and Postman.
Ability to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient testing workflows.
Strong experience with automated testing of UI and mobile applications (Android and iOS).
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for Applications to ensure quality and performance.
Perform automated and manual testing to identify and address software defects.
Conduct performance testing to optimize application performance under various conditions.
Debug and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with development teams for timely resolutions.
Continuously collaborate with internal teams and OEM engineering partners to test applications on high-fidelity systems and emulators.
Develop both manual and automated test cases for robust software validation.
Continuously assess and suggest improvements to enhance software quality and performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in software quality assurance with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
Strong knowledge of test planning, strategy development, and execution.
Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools for both UI and API testing.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities with internal teams and partners.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is mandatory.
