Reporting directly to the Supply Chain and Procurement Manager, you will be required to work as an integral part of the team.

Job Summary
The Category Manager establishes and implements global and regional sourcing strategies for the allocated indirect categories.
Generation of synergies and savings using bundling and leveraging.
Harmonization of processes, tools and suppliers across the region.
Manages complex RFQs by preparation of quote comparison (cost factor analysis, commercial analysis), leads supplier negotiations for commercial and contractual aspects, prepares and executes sourcing committees and aligns joint decisions between all project participants.
Knows contract requirements and negotiates contractual clauses and their updates.
Manages client relationship with internal stakeholders and local buyers in the plants.
Key Tasks & Activities Spend Analysis And Savings And Benefits Tracking Conducts detailed spend analysis and benchmarkingEvaluates spend and market competitive conditions as a basis to identify category sourcing opportunitiesBuilds an accurate spend analysis and benchmarking for category price movementsDevelops cost savings targets, backed by sound data and realistic targetsSourcing Works closely with stakeholders to develop and implement effective sourcing initiatives for relevant categoriesSources project management (RFI/RFQ/RFP), identifies and invites all potential suppliers to participate in sourcing initiativeManages the negotiation process, content and resultsProposes preferred suppliers for the final decision processManage Supplier Contracts And Agreements Builds strong rapport with suppliers' senior managementMonitors and ensures that supplier agreements are implemented and that suppliers are aligned with the agreed benefitsMonitors and reports all savings delivered and realizedEstablishes cross-functional teams to negotiate and implement improved commercial and operational outcomesManage Assigned Indirect Categories The category manager is responsible for managing all sourcing and supplier negotiations within the categories that are assigned to them, e.g.Sources, engages in negotiations, and maintains agreements with suppliers to obtain the best benefits possible for the organizationMonitors progress on an ongoing basis and analyses spend to ensure that the agreements conditions are being observedEstablishment and implementation of global and regional sourcing strategies for the allocated categoriesWho We Are Looking For… Background and Experience Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration5-7 years of experience as a Category Manager in Procurement areaTechnical Skills Proficiency with Microsoft ExcelEnglish and Portuguese language proficiency (mandatory)SAP knowledge and digital mindsetInterpersonal Skills Effective NegotiationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliersAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insightsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyLogoplaste is an equal opportunities employer, where the foundation of our culture and our drive is based on Diversity & Inclusion.
