This person will be a Category Manager for some Indirect Procurement commodities.
More specifically, we are looking for someone who would handle Professional Services, Marketing & Advertisement, Car Fleet, Corporate Services for all the entities globally.
The scope of commodities can evolve.
The Category Manager is responsible for defining the strategy for the commodity, gathering the business needs and managing various aspects of procurement including strategy, organizational alignment, sourcing, negotiation, contracts, supplier relationship management, operating process management, performance management.
ResponsibilitiesLead negotiations and RFP processes from beginning to endManage spend portfolio of approx.
$35-40MLead development and implementation of select global category strategies and contractsDevelop strong collaboration with business unit and factory leaders and partner to align on strategy, supplier selection, change management, and sustainability of value creation.Effectively communicate and influence internally and externallyEffectively manage supplier relationshipsInstitutionalize CCR strategic sourcing process and oversee adoption and adherence (includes creating standards for supplier selection based on total cost of ownership, contracting and negotiation strategy)Oversee contract management activitiesQualificationsBA/BS business or engineering degree6-8+ years experience in Procurement/Supply Chain leadership;Fluent in EnglishExperience working in a Matrixial environment with cross-functional global teams.AutonomousProven ability to exercise independent business judgment to drive strategy and results.Proven ability to achieve results through leadership & influence.Ability to excel in a dynamic environment.Demonstrated analysis and resolution of complex problems where success requires the evaluation of both tangible and intangible variables.
