Job Purpose
The process lead is responsible for streamlining accounting processes, maximising efficiency and user experience, driving process improvements and maximising costs.
Responsibilities
Process Mapping and Documentation: Collaborate with accounting teams to thoroughly understand current processes and workflows across accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and other finance operations. Document these processes in a clear and structured manner.
Migration project support: Assist with the planning and execution of migration projects, such as transitions to new finance platforms, changes to operational workflows, or transfer of activities to the scope of the SSC. Ensure smooth transitions by providing process documentation, coordinating timelines, and troubleshooting issues that arise during migration.
Support change management: Assist the accounting team in adopting new processes or tools by providing documentation, guidance, and support. Help manage the transition to improved processes, ensuring minimal disruption to day-to-day activities. Provide clear communication materials that outline steps and expectations for new procedures or new systems.
Process optimization: Identify areas of inefficiency within existing finance and accounting processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and improve overall efficiency.
Systems and technology: Work closely with IT to leverage financial systems and tools to automate routine tasks and improve data accuracy and reporting capabilities. Testing developed solutions.
Performance monitoring: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented process changes. Gather feedback post-implementation to refine and improve further.
Others: Build ad-hoc reports, or attend to other requests/projects accounting related.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher qualifications in Accounting/Finance/Economy or related discipline.
5+ years' experience in the Accounting field.
Experience in systems migration projects in a large organization.
Familiarity with process automation and finance technology.
Experience on process documentation and presentations preparation.
Strong understanding of accounting workflows and finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
SAP (mandatory).
Experience in multinational context.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
