As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for the therapy of individuals with a variety of conditions including neurological and developmental conditions.
Your tasks will include:
Providing Physiotherapy input in managing clients with a variety of needs
Monitoring, evaluating and modifying treatment to measure client progress
Providing Physiotherapy input into comprehensive interdisciplinary treatment and assessment
Discussing services and treatment options with potential clients
Providing costing and rehabilitiation reports (recommendations to Case Managers, Insurers, primary health organisations, private organisations and/or local authorities)
Ensuring that clients are involved in the planning and prioritisation of their rehabilitation plans wherever possible
Providing support, consultation and advising on relevant Physiotherapy issues to clients and caregivers
Adapting practice to meet individual patients' circumstances, including due regard for cultural, social and linguistic differences in addition to their cognitive and physical disabilities
Demonstrating high level of clinical effectiveness by use of evidence-based practice
You will be splitting your time between the state of the art clinic and travelling to the patients premises (home, school, etc)
Working with different age ranges
To be a good fit for the Physiotherapist role, you will have:
Studies in Physiotherapy (Undergraduate or Masters)
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physiotherapist
Experience with different age ranges and a multidisciplinary approach
Full valid Driver's License
Working with Children's Check
Experience or interest in Neurological rehabilitation
Experience with Bobath and/or Feldenkrais method is nice to have
Emotional intelligence and resilience
Fluent English
