Discover Impactful Work:
Working closely with the vendor and internal operations, end-user's community and IT staff, this individual will support the transition of the payroll function and roadmap. Day to day responsibilities include requirements documentation, process map, support in test execution and solution implementation. Project related responsibilities include oversight of select projects within the payroll portfolio.
Main Responsibilities
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Act as key liaison between business users and the vendor to analyze business functional requirements against system functionality to meet business needs.
Ensure written documentation, including functional and technical requirements with the vendor.
Develop test procedures, test scenarios, and test cases; complete test scripts; and document and communicate the results.
Assess impact of change requests and provide level of effort estimates.
Manage assigned projects, including conducting requirements and design sessions, obtaining resources, setting milestones, reporting project status.
Highlight any risks, issues and plan mitigation actions as well as opportunities for improvement.
Interact and connect with project team members to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of system updates and modifications into production.
Analyze the current process, identify gaps, and provide recommendations in support of process improvement efforts.
Dedication to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers being a key resource in the change management process.
Ensure the project is on track to deliver to the agreed timescales/deadlines.
Ensure the training sessions with the teams are in place.
Responsible for 'go live' activities, and post 'go live' support.
Key Skills And Experience
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience
Preferred: Minimum of 5+ years of payroll project management experience.
Preferred: Experience working with global payroll vendors and with in-house solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
In-depth global payroll knowledge.
Knowledge of integration points with Payroll and other third-party systems such as Oracle.
Excellent analytical skills, problem solving abilities, and the ability to quickly learn new areas.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver updates to key stakeholders and the payroll teams.
