OLR is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant who will leverage their expertise in networking, hardware systems, and database administration to ensure the correct installation, configuration, and functionality of Oracle Retail application software, along with the necessary infrastructure components, for OLR and its clients.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Frequently update and maintain Oracle RDBMS instances for both OLR and its clientsFrequently perform installation, maintenance and configuration of Oracle Retail application database instancesContinually assist in defining and ensuring adherence to both Oracle Retail and OLR database standardsRegularly assist in creation and update of Oracle database objects for both OLR and its clientsOccasionally analyze database and hardware sizing and capacity planning for OLR clientsOccasionally assist project teams in defining software functionality and performing appropriate modifications and enhancementsOccasionally assist project teams in customer infrastructure migrations and upgradesFacilitate the logging, reporting, and resolution of application and infrastructure issues infrequentlyAssist in maintaining the OLR software development environment as neededFrequently perform knowledge transfer to client personnel and 3rd party vendors especially related to Oracle Retail and OLR applications and requirementsFrequently support and troubleshoot OLR and client environmentsOccasionally provide on-call support as needed during non-business hoursIntermittently assist in performing go-live assessments to determine the readiness of Oracle Retail systems as well as client and support teamsThe successful candidate will have: Ability to work under pressure to adhere to SLA'sClear communicationHigh client interaction for major incidentsTroubleshooting capability in an independent wayAbility to quickly understand new complex situationsAbility to put in place quick workarounds, and then an action plan for root cause resolutionStructured approach to problem resolutionHave a critical sense on existing problems and resolutions with the ability to propose improvementBachelor's degree in a Computer Science or related field3-5 years of experience in a similar role3+ years System Administration and/or Oracle Database Administration requiredMandatory: Oracle DBALinux administrationFusion Middleware / WebLogicOracle Cloud InfrastructureA plus: Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2Oracle Identity ManagementSQL Server Database AdministrationDevOps (Jenkins, CINC(Chef), Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform)Benefits: Private Health InsuranceLife InsuranceFlex Benefits monthly allowanceWork-from-home friendlyTraining and developmentEmployee Assistance ProgrammeCoffee, Tea, and Water in the officeDifferent social events with a lot of foodGreat collaborative environmentA Certified Great Place to Work
