The O&M Monitoring Supervisor works as part of the Asset Management Team (AM), ensuring that the assets are performing optimally. This role involves detecting and analyzing possible failures based on remote monitoring analysis, ensuring the optimal performance of the plants, and proficiently reporting the results of the AM team.
The O&M Monitoring Supervisor provides the technical expertise to manage the workflow of open issues of the monitoring platforms, both own and contractor platforms, on operational sites. This role supports the Local O&M teams in tracking incidents and KPIs, acting as the central point of contact for the Operations team to efficiently analyze performance and resolve issues. Support for maintenance procedures, including H&S compliance, is also provided.
Main responsibilities:
Supervise the overall technical operation of Assets.
Manage day-to-day operational technical issues, investigating, diagnosing, solving, and reporting in cooperation with the Asset Management department and external providers.
Support external asset managers and O&M teams in performing deep dive analysis on performance data when required.
Identify operational risks to the assets through robust operational analysis and implement solutions to mitigate such risks.
Ensure regular contact and maintain good relationships with statutory authorities, landowners, grid networks, O&M and Asset Managers.
Monitor and manage EPC/O&M guarantees, punch lists, site visits, and inspections as required.
Fulfill, review, and optimize O&M and technical reports, requesting further clarifications when necessary to ensure adequate monitoring of plant performance.
Support insurance claim management.
Visit sites and organize meetings with providers as needed, reporting these activities internally.
Monitor, analyze, and report on Assets KPIs (production, availability, PR, etc.).
Supervise and follow up on O&M preventive and corrective plans.
Conduct daily monitoring and analysis of alarms and faults of the assets remotely through internal platforms or automatic reports, presenting technical proposals for improvements and/or corrections.
Assist in the preparation of Assets operational budgets.
Engage in other fields of activity of the company as required, such as general daily operations.
Prepare AM operational weekly, monthly, yearly, and punctual reports.
Demonstrate strong remote monitoring systems skills and analytical skills in data interpretation.
Possess experience in the operational monitoring of renewable assets and the maintenance and optimization of associated infrastructure, including communications and SCADA infrastructure, CMMS/GMAO, and relevant database updating (SQL, MySQL).
Exhibit a proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a drive for high standards.
Have knowledge of risk management and an understanding of health and safety, environmental, and social risks in the energy industry.
Maintain a detail-oriented and analytical approach to work, with strong technical acumen.
Communicate effectively with high-quality report writing and presentation skills.
Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential; German and Spanish language skills are advantageous.
Possess 1-3 years of experience in renewables.

Education: Degree in Engineering.
