Job Description ROLE: Marketing Manager ROLE DEFINITION: The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Regional Marketing Team and the Hotel General Manager to conceptualize, create, and complete designs/artwork, delivering the highest quality work, whilst meeting tight deadlines.
MAIN DUTIES: Marketing budget – Forecasting, Planning, & MonitoringContact with local journalists, local community, institutions, embassiesPress releases to local press about news and current events in the hotelTreatment of press inquiries about the hotelOrganization of PR EventsTake care of journalists staying in the hotelPro-active PR measuresGeneral PR administration tasksMarketing activities to support Rooms, F & B & Banquet salesPerform as per company standards.Proper grooming at all timesAttend training classes as per scheduleShow fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departmentsIs aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilitiesInstall and update a press database for the local marketEdit press releases about news and current events in the hotel and send out to local press marketPicture archive of the property, have perfect pictures in store and ready at handHave an updated press kit and fact sheet of the hotel at handHave all flyers, information material, and brochures in the storeHave access to the press kit of Accor and all other information material about the groupCollection of press clippings and build up a press archiveTreatment of press inquiries of the hotel, hand over press inquiries about Accor to the Corporate Public Relations Department.Get in contact with the local journalists, invite them, visit them, and keep a constant relationBuild up relations to the local community, embassies, institutions, administrations etc.Care about journalists or VIPs during their stay in the hotelKeep the press relations with small gifts, invitations, or visitsPreparation, organization, and follow-up of PR EventsOrganize press cocktails or press lunches in the hotelKeep the hotel staff informed about news, pass relevant information about AccorConstant information flow between the General Manager and other department headsDelivery of news for any internal company magazine (via Corporate Public Relations)Be connected with other Accor hotels for cross-marketingHave knowledge about the Accor group and know what Accor is all aboutTake part in the yearly Public Relations workshop organized by Corporate Public RelationsGive support to Corporate Public Relations in all required subjectsQualifications Master's degree in Marketing or Diploma in vocational hospitality
