MARKETING ANALYST A position for an analyst in the Market Performance Analysis team, based in Portugal. The Market Performance Analysis team helps the local marketing organizations in Europe to understand and improve their business performance. In this role you are the sparring partner of the Regional Marketing Operations manager. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitate strategic and tactical business decision making for your region. Interpret results, develop scenarios and recommendations for complex and dynamic business issues/cases. Prepare commercial decisions based on in-depth market knowledge and FedEx expertise. Contribute to reporting of key business indicators and business performance. Analyse and explain the monthly results (volumes, revenues, yield development) as preparation for the Management Board meeting. Protect the value proposition of the region by evaluating the impact of proposed changes in our network (road and air) on the customer experience. Support the marketing team in the region in the realization of their growth strategy (setting a baseline, agreeing targets, measuring progress) Support setting up and measurement of Marketing Campaigns Supply information (revenues, volumes, weights, yields, products etc) to both internal (e.G. Marketing, Finance, Operations, Legal) and external (e.G. Governmental organizations and regulators) stakeholders PROFILE Business school/University degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Math, or Physics. Strong analytical (numeric and strategic) and process thinking capabilities. PC literate, specifically SAS VIA, PowerBi, MS Excel, PPT and Word and programming languages like SQL, Python and R. Excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills, ability to interact effectively throughout various functional groups and hierarchical levels. Excellent communication skills in English. Thorough business and marketing knowledge. Experience in formal project management and/or major international strategic business cases are a plus, flexibility, eagerness to learn and high energy are a must. This is not an IT function; however, we are lookingfor an analytical person who is not afraid of systems and technology.
