We are looking for a skilled manual QA tester to join our dynamic team.
As a Manual QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in the quality assurance of our web-based data application. Your primary responsibility will be to test features, identify and document issues, and ensure the application's functionality and performance align with product requirements. You'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver a smooth, error-free user experience.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and scenarios for web-based data applications based on product requirements and design documents.
Conduct manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
Identify, document, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
Validate data integrity and consistency across the application, ensuring accuracy in data processing, visualization, and reporting features.
Create and maintain test plans and test data.
Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and ensure high-quality product releases.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
At least two years of experience as a manual QA tester.
Extensive knowledge of manual testing methodologies and techniques.
Experience in web application testing and understanding of web technologies.
Experience with SQL and relational databases (MySQL).
Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools.
Familiarity with HTTP protocols.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
You will be working with the lead SDET and 3rd party test automation engineers and be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvements of our test automation solutions on a given technology platform, ensuring the agreed standards and principles are followed.
