Your new companyOur client is an international company that has been a pioneer in its market for more than five years.Your new role as a Legal Counsel and reporting directly to the Legal Department in France, the Candidate will be responsible for:The areas of commercial law, general corporate law, regulatory compliance, and general business counselling.The position includes a mix of autonomous work responsibilities and assisting other attorneys in the Legal Department.The Legal Counsel will support our global consumer sales team to provide legal counsel, tools, and best practices to protect our sales and brand.Primary job responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial and sales contracts, providing legal and compliance advice on a full range of legal issues (e.G., antitrust issues and competition laws, selective distribution requirements under the EU regulation and its foreign equivalent).Conducting compliance training focusing on competition law and other topics. Additional responsibilities include support on consumer protection, digital laws, regulations, and corporate law topics for the Bose legal entities in the region.The Legal Counsel will also proactively monitor legal developments, industry and regulatory trends and topics, and legislative initiatives, across a range of subject areas.What you'll need to succeedThe selected Candidate must have:Postgraduate (Master 2) in business - commercial law.Bi-Lingual in English includes a university cursus in an English-speaking / common law country.Knowledge of EU competition law and antitrust issues impacting manufacturer/distributor and reseller's relationships.At least 5 years prior related legal experience at a top-tier international law firm, which must include contract drafting and negotiation.Willingness to learn new things and play outside one's comfort zone.Excellent communication and writing skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a clear interest in international environment/cultural diversity.Must be highly organised and detail-oriented.Strong collaboration skills and business acumen.The ability to work independently and make decisions within defined parameters.What you'll get in returnYou will have the privilege of working in a multinational company in a highly dynamic and international environment, within a global responsibility.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
