Description
For Hitachi Energy, it's critical to improve the Customer satisfaction by delivering Projects with the highest quality, on time and on budget. Preventing Customer problems by improving our processes and reacting fast to Quality Issues, by the proper problem-solving methodology is essential for the success of the company.
As senior expert of Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean Six Sigma (L6S) across the entire Grid Integration Business Unit, within the Global Black Belt Pool, you support the Hubs and Global Product Groups all around the world by coaching and Leading high quality Improvement projects. Reporting to the Business Unit Continuous Improvement Leader you contribute to the definition of CI processes and tolls as well as CI Training deployment and execution to develop CI capabilities and methods across the organization.

Your responsibilities

You coach the behavioral change to continuously improve performance through project execution and Contribute to the cultural transformation across the organization
You implement L6S strategy, objectives and targets across the organization in alignment and in collaboration with the Business Unit
You act as the CI and L6S Subject Matter Expert, providing help and guidance on methods, tools and templates to drive CI projects
You partner with management teams and functional experts to understand their organization's vision, objectives and challenges
You sustain and improve the CI processes, tools and trainings on various methodologies, including L6S, PDCA and 8D
You drive the sharing of best practices, new processes, tools and improvements achieved through application of CI methodologies
You live core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Your background

L6S BB certification with minimum 5 years of experience in coaching and leading CI projects across multiple locations
Minimum of 10 years of experience in continuous improvement, preferably in the energy or engineering sector
Proven experience in leading and developing global programs
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing change in a dynamic, international, and fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision-making
Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
A university degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Fluency in English is required, both written and spoken. Other languages are considered a plus
