G2 5AD Salary dependant on experience with Bonus, Family Healthcare and Car Allowance Flexible Working Pattern Closing date: 5th July 2024 Help us create a better future, quicker As Lead Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of a programme of projects within the ScottishPower Renewables extensive portfolio of utility scale Solar PV and Onshore Windfarm projects. What you'll be doing You will apply industry best practice to the management of your projects, ensuring each project is constructed in accordance with the high standards of safety and quality which ScottishPower Renewables require. Establishing a delivery strategy for each of your projects, providing technical and commercial oversight, governance and guidance to your team, you will ensure each project is properly controlled and is being delivered in accordance with business's objectives. Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our business, you will develop and implement processes, standards and good practice guidelines for project management within ScottishPower Renewables. Providing management and leadership to a diverse team of professionals, you shall take responsibility for the daily management of their work, becoming actively involved in their ongoing professional development. What you'll bring We are looking for a proven professional with extensive experience of successfully delivering projects and with the capability to manage competing priorities, and to meet challenging targets and deadlines. You must be comfortable managing a diverse team and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly related to multicultural relationships. Educated in an engineering discipline or construction management, you will be able to display previous experience within an infrastructure project management environment, will possess highly developed contractual and commercial awareness and will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of UK Health and Safety laws and regulations.
