For which tasks (responsibilities)? To process vision of the project into vision of game design elements and correctly present this vision to the team.
Create the design of game elements and implement them with the help of the design team and other development teams.
Being responsible for the quality of the project's design documentation.
Providing design specifications to artists, programmers, and UI/UX designers and ensuring the results meet these specifications.
Monitoring the video game market and deconstructing similar projects.
Overseeing the full implementation of new game elements by providing design specifications and interacting with other development teams.
Setting up work processes and assembling a project team within the game design department.
What kind of professional are we looking for? A minimum of 5+ years of work experience in game design and a minimum of 2+ years of experience managing a game design team.
A portfolio of released, commercially successful projects.
Vast gaming experience and a solid understanding of video game genres and mechanics.
Experience in writing and implementing design documents.
Experience in developing elements of game and combat mechanics.
Ability to make a convincing argument.
Familiarity with TTRPGs (tabletop role-playing games) as a plus.
