Junior Support Analyst (German speaking) Electronic Data Capture, R&D Solutions Portugal, Homebased We are looking for a Junior Support Analyst who is fluent in German, to provide first line support on workstations or for applications in our Electronic Data Capture team. Our team is supporting current and new clients across Europe and North America. This position will also support new projects for technical support of portal usage users.
Essential Functions Processes and provides first line support for technical assistance and resources from internal and/or external customers.Communicates with end users to clarify and define requirements.Resolves various routine problems and escalates the more complex issues to the appropriate support area for resolution.Maintains call information in database using commercial software.May work with monthly charge back reports.May schedule configuration and installation of PC workstation hardware and software.Qualifications Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or equivalent technical experience.One (1) year related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Familiarity with mainframe, distributed, PC, LAN, or telecommunications equipment and related components to understand client's technical needs, or may have experience in customer service role.Ability to carry out some analysis and information gathering to resolve problems on routine matters.Mandatory skills Native speaker in German or Fluent.English - Professional proficiency.Windows Operating System.Microsoft Office.Mandatory Competence Strong Communication Skills.Customer service experience.Problem solving skills.Ability to think logically.Ability to work under pressure.Team player.Ability to learn quickly.Empathy.Thorough.Methodical.Why Join?
