Responsibilities
Optical Systems Development : Define specifications for camera systems, including sensor, filter, and lens characteristics, ensuring optimal performance for Smartex sensors;
Testing and Quality Assurance : Write, plan, and execute test procedures for optical systems and adjacent systems, managing and coordinating necessary tests to meet quality targets;
Supplier and Manufacturer Collaboration : Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality camera systems, maintaining rigorous quality standards;
Client Interaction and Problem-Solving : Visit clients to understand system constraints and end-user needs, evaluating potential problems and providing innovative solutions in the field;
Software Development : Write Python software to interface with camera manufacturer's SDK, contributing to the seamless integration of hardware and software components;
Test Procedure Design : Plan, design, and build test procedures and jigs for cameras, incorporating software and hardware development as needed.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics Engineering ;
Demonstrate interest in knowing more about lenses, optical filters, and camera systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English ;
Ability to adapt to new technologies, and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment ;
Collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with team members to achieve shared goals.
