YOUR TASKSYou will be part of an international team of technical experts within Service Engineering located at various hubs, supporting global installation and service teams.
Managing project teams and/or experts to troubleshoot technical problems related to towers and structures closely following the 8D-problem solving method.Developing supplier and customer-related strategies with focus on quality, technical support and reliability of wind turbine towers and structures.Identifying process and product optimizations and driving improvements with the involvement of all affected interfaces.Carrying out complex analyses including risk assessments on topics with considerable importance for the company, suggesting next steps and project plans and executing them closely.Preparing and conducting complex negotiations, preparing business cases and reporting to senior management of the company.Coordination of external consultants and supervision of external experts.YOUR PROFILESuccessfully completed studies in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or comparable.Fundamental work experience (more than 4 years) in mechanical or civil wind turbine tower engineering, troubleshooting and root cause investigation or comparable.Familiar with the 8D problem solving process, preferably already in a project manager role.Proven ability to manage (project) teams, work autonomously and in a goal-oriented manner.Strong team player who actively shares and trains gained expert knowledge and supports others on specific mechanical topics.Very good communication and presenting skills with fluent business English.Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 10%).WHAT WE OFFERCentral location, near public transportation (3 min to metro Via Rápida-Viso).Free parking spot in the building (Edificio Porto Inova) and an E-car Charging station available.Lunch provided with a well-equipped kitchen; cafeteria offers 3 different dishes at reasonable prices.Ergonomic workstations available (including standing desks).Remote-friendly system: 3 days at the office, 2 days at home; Flexible Working Time Policy.All necessary equipment for remote work (monitors, docking stations, headphones, mouse, and keyboard).Health Insurance.Holidays include Mardi Gras, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.Training & Learning Program (internal and external training sessions).Annual performance evaluation program.Team building events.OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESSPrescreening call.Technical Interview.Cultural Interview.Offer.Nordex adheres to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
