Want to be part of our team? We are looking for a Junior Financial Controller for our offices located in Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto.
Main supporting activities, among others:Manage and oversee annual unit budgets and monthly forecasts;Monitor and report hotel revenue and expenses and ensure the accurate recording in accordance with Highgate Hotels's established guidelines;Investigate and analyze variances to budget or to prior year and offer practical improvement methodologies to management;Analyze financial data and operations in order to assist and advise management in maintaining the hotels' financial objectives;Prepare business reviews, departmental budgets, and financial reports;Establish and continually audit all internal financial controls;Preparation of monthly F&B reports;Setting up/maintaining processes in Micros Simphony/Opera;Be a strong support for the Cluster GM in all matters related to cost and revenue analysis and cost process improvements.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Financial, or Economic area, or higher;Some experience as Financial Controller can be a preference factor;Some experience in international hospitality companies with USALI metrics can be a preference factor;Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Opera, Micros Simphony can be a preference factor;Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability;Strong knowledge of Excel;Strong organizational and planning skills;Analytical mindset and ability to work independently;Proficiency in Portuguese and English.We offer:Competitive compensation;Benefits package;Advantages at Highgate hotels;Career development and progression.Localização: Distrito / District: Porto, Concelho / Municipalities: Vila Nova de Gaia
