"One Health" - this is what the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL) stands for as an interdisciplinary, scientific specialist authority. After all, health encompasses many aspects - only healthy animals provide healthy food, and only a healthy environment enables physical, mental and social well-being.
Together with colleagues from food chemistry, human and veterinary medicine as well as other (natural) scientific disciplines and administration, we work for the health of humans and animals and thus for modern health and consumer protection in Bavaria. Support us at one of our many locations!

The gender-specific use of a job title has no influence on the actual selection for the position. Equal opportunities, inclusion, acceptance of differences and mutual appreciation are very important to us. We show appreciation and respect to all employees (m/f/d) at all times - regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or ideology, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity. The LGL actively promotes equal opportunities for all employees (m/f/d) in the spirit of the Free State of Bavaria as employer and employer. All our positions are generally available on a part-time basis, insofar as job sharing ensures that the tasks described can be performed. We particularly welcome applications from women and men in areas of our office in which they have been employed in significantly lower numbers to date. In areas in which women are employed in significantly lower numbers than men, women are particularly encouraged to apply (Art. 7 Para. 3 BayGlG). The inclusion of (severely) disabled employees (m/f/d) is also very important to us. We already employ more severely disabled people than required by law. They are given preferential consideration in the selection process if their suitability is essentially equal. At the LGL, we see diversity as an enrichment, which is why we naturally welcome applications from people of all nationalities.
