Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and fluent Interpreter (Russian) to join our diverse team. In this critical role, you will facilitate effective communication between individuals who speak different languages, particularly English and Russian. Your proficiency in both languages and cultural understanding will help bridge communication gaps and ensure smooth interactions. Key Responsibilities Render accurate translations between Russian and English, ensuring complexity, clarity, tone, and style are preserved.
Uphold correct grammar and syntax in both languages.
Provide detailed and faithful renditions of conversations.
Follow customer instructions, manage call flow, and avoid taking over the call.
Understand and use appropriate terminology and protocols in insurance, legal, and medical (general and forensic) contexts.
Qualifications And Skills Fluent in Russian and English, both spoken and written.
High School Diploma (mandatory).
Education in languages, translation, interpretation, or related fields is advantageous.
Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication.
Ability to remain neutral, objective, and detached from conversations.
Reliable, autonomous, and highly disciplined.
Confident, organized, and skilled in time management.
Ability to work towards performance goals.
Willingness to pick up company equipment from Lisbon, Porto, or Covilhã if hired.
