Are you fluent in Cape Verdean Creole and English? Do you have a knack for bridging cultures and facilitating clear communication? If so, we want you to join our client's dedicated team as a Cape Verdean Creole/English Interpreter!

The mission:

You will employ your bilingual skills in Cape Verdean Creole (C2) and English (C2) to provide remote professional interpretation services (Insurance, Legal, Medicine (General and Forensic)) from mainland Portugal. Whether it's a visit to a doctor after a lazy day of sunbathing from dawn to dusk, a broken phone that fell off of a clumsier hand, or a very avoidable parking ticket, you're going to be the help people hear when it's time to sort out a pickle!

The protagonist:

Other than the language skills under your sleeve, you will need to be available 24/7, from which you will have a daily workload of 8 hours total.You will need to team up with your trusty router/ethernet cable internet connection (No Wi-Fi), with a computer and other quirky tools being available to you during the contract.As a remote interpreter, you will work as a service provider for our client, with the payment being subject to self-employed contractor invoices - "recibos verdes".

And to get you started: a remote training period lasting for 15 working days of going over the domains up for your conquest!
