We are looking for an Accounting intern (Porto-based) to be part of our global teams shared between Portugal and Africa!What do you think about joining the largest eCommerce platform operating on the African continent?What you will be doingPerform Accounts Receivable (AR) analysis:Review and analyse AR reports to identify outstanding balances and trendsInvestigate discrepancies and resolve issues related to customer payments and invoicesPrepare regular AR reports for management reviewBook AR transactions:Enter and update AR transactions accurately and timely in the accounting systemReconcile AR records with supporting documentationMonitor customer responses in emails to ensure that claims are promptly addressed and resolvedAssist in month-end close preparing journal entriesSupport ad-hoc accounting tasksWhat we are looking forDegree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldGood understanding of Accounting principlesKnowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, formulas)Analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage time effectivelyEagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
