International Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities Timely and accurate processing of multiple payrolls across various international locations (excluding US);
Act as the lead for any internal/external queries relating to payroll and benefit-related matters;
Awareness of any changes in local laws and regulations (relating to tax legislation and social security);
Lead regular reviews of benefits in place internationally and work with relevant brokers to ensure the best and most cost-effective benefits are in place;
Support the Head of International HR and HR team with any reporting requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) reporting;
Create trusting relationships with key stakeholders within the firm;
Collaborate with the HR team to ensure that data from the HRIS system is syncing correctly with the relevant payroll system (e.g., joiners, leavers, salary changes);
Preparation and processing of local tax documents e.g. P11D/P60/IRS;
Knowledge and understanding of equity and share awards, including tax implications;
Support on ad-hoc projects as requested e.g. Finance Journals, Audit requests, Due Diligence projects.
Ideal Profile A relevant degree in finance, business or accounting or another relevant Payroll qualification; in lieu of a degree a demonstrable track record in Payroll;
At least 6 years' experience working with multi-country payroll;
In-depth knowledge on equity schemes and shares, including tax implications across Europe is essential with knowledge of Asia being highly advantageous;
Experience of payroll system is essential (any experience of ADP or similar global payroll system is highly advantageous);
Knowledge of local market statutory rights, including maternity and paternity leave;
Ability to work independently amongst a wider International team;
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to deliver information to different audiences;
Strong personal integrity;
Fluent in English essential.
