We're gearing up to take our brand to even greater heights!The RoleWe are looking for a talented HSS Engineer - Mobile Core to join our Mobile Core team. You will have a very diverse work and the possibility to take the initiative to understand the context and requirements of why and what we're working on to be able to then design and deploy iteratively our solution. You will also frequently engage with other teams on cross-functional projects.This role and the team are in Lisbon (flexible working mode). We carry with pleasure the great responsibility to evolve Truphone's global mobile network. We work hard in making our engineering solutions better day by day and take pride for providing high quality services.RequirementsWhat you will do:Iterate with the customers (internal and external) and other stakeholders to determine the technical requirements, communicating them transparently to the whole business.Design and present solutions, identifying the impacts, efforts and needed resources.Promote best practices for a high-scale mobile environment.Build and develop high impact features and contribute to the solution engineering, aiming towards resiliency, scalability, security and fault tolerance.Support solutions, services and applications within the HSS domain, as a part of the Core Network.Deploy solutions in lab and production environments.Create the appropriate visibility of the relevant service KPI's.Collaborate closely with other teams as well as with external partners.What you will bring:Hands on operational and delivery experience with maintenance and implementation of solutions in live and lab environments.Expertise in the signaling related protocols such as SIP, CAMEL, MAP, DIAMETER, SIGTRAN.Expertise on the mobility management functions in a mobile core network and related systems (HLR/HSS, DRA, STP).Expertise in service design related with voice, messaging and data services.Expertise in IMS architecture, ideally with VoWiFi and VoLTE use cases.Familiarity with MVNO/MVNE/MVNA architectures.Good understanding on GSM, UMTS, LTE and 5G related technologies, systems and protocols.Previous experience in delivery, solution design and capacity management.Good understanding of cloud services and scalable infrastructure.Proficiency with REST APIs, both in implementing and consuming the interfaces.Experience in software development (ideally with Java/Go) and with testing is a plus.Excellent communication skills (fluent in English, both written and spoken), with a self-motivated and autonomous mindset.Why 1GLOBAL?Embarking on a journey with 1Global is an opportunity to be a part of a team that's shaping the future of telecommunications and technology.
