OverviewDrives and manages planning and execution of project management for various topics such as general HR-related projects, change and transformation initiatives, new tools and systems, as well as people process and practices continuous improvement.Partnering closely with relevant HR and non-HR stakeholders to plan & execute ongoing projects, focusing on simplification, standardization, and automation of practices and processes to full maturity, ensuring improvements are deployed.
Tracking of project success, milestones, and continuous improvement initiatives.Experience with workforce management and planning is a desired plus.
For this activity cluster, the role focus will be on forecast scheduling needs/changes and the impact on the labor budget, creating reports for production operations on existing and forecasted labor utilization, as well as assisting HR Leaders and managers in the identification, prioritization, coordination, support, and execution of high-impact improvement plans for sustainable cost savings.ResponsibilitiesAct as project manager for major HR projects, improvement initiatives, and projects at the regional level.Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.Coordinate and lead pluri-disciplinary project team members, including HR professionals and external vendors where required.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and key accountabilities.Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving issues and risks, and ensure progress communication to stakeholders.Develop and maintain project documentation (including project charters, schedules, budgets, and reports).Manage project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial targets are met in collaboration with Finance and business stakeholders.Conduct post-project evaluations to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.Ensure successful adoption of change, providing key stakeholders with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully adapt to a new process/change/set up.Support workforce planning activity, particularly scheduling needs/changes and the impact on the labor budget, creating reports for production operations on existing and forecasted labor utilization, as well as assisting HR Leaders and managers in the identification, prioritization, coordination, support, and execution of high-impact improvement plans for sustainable cost savings.Build ethical, positive, and effective relationships with all relevant stakeholders involved in projects.Understand the centers of influence and the dynamics of this key stakeholder group to effectively navigate the landscape, resolve differences, and target the right people at key decision and implementation points.Drive action plans to deliver progress and proactively design KPIs to track progress and measure outcomes.QualificationsRecognized as a reliable strong leader and partner in a corporate environment, with a passion for projects, process, and process improvements in the discipline of Human Resources.Significant and relevant experience managing HR projects (e.g., +10 years), together with practical application of process improvement using project/change management methodologies.Proven Project Management skills, experience leading/managing large-scale projects and/or solving complex business problems with scalable solutions.Must be a results-oriented change agent, leveraging strong interpersonal and influencing skills to collaborate and facilitate positive dialogue with various levels and areas of the organization.Ability to think strategically considering broader business implications, enterprise dependencies, with an awareness of the up/downstream requirements and/or impacts and any cost implications.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to assist others in understanding new projects, new processes, and influencing them to try new ways of doing business.Experience in project documentation, assessing useful key metrics, critical & analytical thinking.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities as business needs change and adept at managing multiple workstreams/projects.KPIsProject completion within budget and within the specified timeframe.Stakeholder satisfaction: measures the satisfaction levels of the project stakeholders, such as the HR team, senior management, and employees.Quality of project deliverables: measures the quality of the project deliverables, such as reports, presentations, and documentation, and ensures they meet the required standards.Risk management: measures the HR project manager's ability to identify and mitigate risks that may impact the project's success.Team performance: measures the performance of the HR project manager's team, including productivity, efficiency, and collaboration.Adherence to project governance: measures the HR project manager's adherence to the organization's project governance policies and procedures.Business impact: measures the impact of the HR project on the organization's overall business goals and objectives.
