We are currently recruiting for a highly organised and experienced HR Manager to shape our workforce and ensure we attract, retain, and develop the best talent in the industry.
Responsibilities:
Ensure an exceptional end-to-end employee lifecycle experience, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
Maintain and update employment contracts, HR documentation, and employee files (both hard and soft copies).
Monitor and manage employee attendance, vacation, absences, and leave requests.
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment practices, and company policies across all office locations (Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Canada).
Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, providing support for queries, performance management, and employee development.
Support the Payroll Team by ensuring the correct organisation of monthly documents and accurate registration for new starters and benefits (Social Security, Health Insurance, Labour Insurance, Occupational Medicine).
Manage application processes for IEFP internships and other incentive measures.
Coordinate training programmes and manage career development paths, working closely with department heads to identify training needs.
Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture, fostering employee engagement and supporting HR initiatives that reinforce company values.
Guide and advise managers on employee relations, leave issues, and organisational changes.
Requirements:
Higher education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in the HR field.
Fluent in English and Portuguese. (Knowledge of Spanish, Swedish, or French is valued.)
Strong generalist HR knowledge, best practices, and regulations, particularly in Portuguese employment and labour law.
Cross-cultural awareness with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to interpret HR policies, procedures, and regulations across multiple geographies.
Well-developed collaboration and teamwork skills.
Proactive mindset to identify and resolve issues while managing stakeholders with competing agendas.
Impeccable written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work with a global team across multiple time zones.
Available to work in the Porto Office (Boavista), Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
