The candidate will be responsible for:Leading the daily operations of the Housekeeping department and providing support to the Room Attendants and House Attendants.Assisting with training and hiring of new team members.Collaborating with the Maintenance department regarding any room and property deficiencies.Maintaining a close working relationship with other departments, especially Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Spa.Inspecting rooms and providing ongoing feedback to the team.Checking and maintaining adequate levels of supplies and materials, requesting replenishment of supplies as required.Ensuring the correct handling of lost guest property in accordance with hotel procedures.Carring out opening and closing procedures as detailed in the standards & procedures while ensuring accurate completion of any reports.Providing leadership that inspires and engages the team to do their best every day.Ensuring all guest comments and complaints are acted upon promptly.Assisting the team to ensure that all goals are met on a daily basis.Assisting with the scheduling of staff.Ensuring room standards are maintained.Creating action plans and updating departmental progress based on guest and employee feedback.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Empathetic leader with the ability to work with and inspire a diverse team.Service focused.Previous experience in Housekeeping leadership is a strong preference.Ability to lead by example.Flexible schedule including working on weekends.Strong communication skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.```#J-18808-Ljbffr
