As a Head of Procurement, what are you going to do?
Develop and communicate a procurement business plan; establish, communicate and implement long-term goals for the department in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency;
Continuously improve procurement policies and processes to facilitate more effective and cost-efficient operations, and compliant with Country regulations and Company policy;
Manage Team of Strategic Procurement, Category Managers and Supplier Quality and ensure alignment of objectives with Corporate goals;
Approve and implement contract agreements between cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers in the best interest of the business and ensure its compliance;
Identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and use emerging opportunities to leverage business;
Develop, communicate and administer procurement team performance and development plans and appraisals;
Ensure efficient process of purchase orders; response to Bid and proposals; and reconciliation of any invoice discrepancies;
Ensure the vendor's base is dimensioned, qualified and is aligned to respond to Supply Chain needs;
Be responsible for the relationship management with the suppliers and for the development of any program to enhance continuous improvement;
Support the Product area by knowing and sharing supplier innovation trends;
Comply and assure compliance with the rules and procedures of Health, Safety & Environment and report any non-conformity detected in this area;
Comply and assure compliance with the rules and procedures of Quality Management System and other Management Systems that the company may adopt;
Ensure the confidentiality of the information available within the scope of the activity, as contractually defined;
Implement operational control and make sure that all EHS rules are properly displayed and respected;
Promote EHS awareness throughout all the team;
Ensure that Environment and Health&Safety is integrated into all activities and adherence to EHS Policy & Procedures as well as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance is strictly maintained. Complete all the compulsory training related to them and ensure that the team members do the same;
Comply with the information security and data privacy policies and procedures adopted by Vision-Box, and ensure that your team members do the same. Report any information security or data privacy incidents or weaknesses immediately. Complete all the compulsory training related to information security and data privacy and ensure that the team members do the same;
Contribute to the correct separation of waste and its placement in the respective containers, according to the typology of each waste.
What are the skills and professional experience we're expecting from you?
Master's degree;
Market and technology curiosity as well as strong research skills;
Strong time management skills; negotiation and managerial skills;
Strategic thinking;
Previous experience as Procurement Manager, or similar;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software;
Advanced level of MS Excel and data analysis;
Contracts management experience;
Speak and write fluent English;
Market knowledge.
