If that is your thing, then pladis offers global ambition, a clear Vision and roadmap for success, challenge, and unrivalled opportunities to learn and make an impact.Role Title: Head of Health, Safety, Environment & Security UK&IHiring Manager: Andrew BaldwinLocation: Home basedRecruiter: Georgina WawmanThis role is home based with travel to sites across the UK.What will this role achieve?Responsible for the implementation of the Health, Safety, Environmental & Security (HSES) strategy for the pladis UK&I business, playing a key role in its development and ensuring that it meets all in country legal requirements, in order to deliver the safest workplaces possible and the development of a safety culture.Responsible for the positive promotion of the HSES agenda at all levels across the business, through the development and management of best practice for all manufacturing and non-manufacturing sites within the geographical remit.Responsible for working with the global SQSE community to align on HSES strategy across the pladis business and for providing competent advice and support in all areas of expertise.What will be your key deliverables?Defines best practice with respect to Health, Safety, Environment and Security matters.Drives compliance, standardisation, consistency and alignment across all sites.Ensures teams have robust action plans in place that are well executed by working with leadership teams to challenge, review and risk assess the plans and ways of working.Identify, develop and implement continuous improvements in performance.
