* Our client, a rapidly expanding organization in the educational sector, is looking for a talented and experienced Chartered Accountant to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute significantly to the company's growth by internalizing the accounting function and enhancing financial processes. Descriçao da oferta The role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements in compliance with Portuguese accounting standards (NCRF), managing daily accounting operations, conducting internal audits, and coordinating with external auditors. Additionally, the Chartered Accountant will provide financial analysis to senior management, oversee strategic activities, develop the accounting area and manage special projects. Description Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with Portuguese accounting standards (NCRF) and regulatory requirements. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintain proper documentation. Conduct regular internal audits to identify and address any discrepancies or issues. Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and financial statements. Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management to support strategic decision-making. Management of strategic activities and development of the Accounting area. Management, development, and implementation of special projects, cross-functional and directly impacting the Accounting area. Monitor and interpret financial trends to identify potential risks and opportunities. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. Profile Degree in Accounting or Business Management and/or related fields, with a mandatory command of Accounting. Active registration with the OCC (mandatory) - TOC. Minimum of 8 years of experience in Management/Accounting roles and a minimum of 3 years in team coordination in an Accounting Office environment. Proficiency in the English language (preferential). Experience with Acquisition accounting, namely Purchase Price Allocation. Experience with Primavera Software Focus on established objectives, excellent organizational skills, adherence to deadlines, and orientation towards achievement.
