Group Accounting Intern

Verisure (in Portugal known as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented, innovative, hands-on and passionate Group Accounting Intern to join our Group Accounting Team, with colleagues in Sweden, Geneva, Madrid and Lisbon. The role will report to the Group Accounting Manager and will be based in Lisbon.This is an exciting opportunity to join the leading provider of professionally monitored alarms for residential households and small businesses in Europe & LatAm and to get exposure to a wide variety of Accounting topics as well as team building activities.Responsibilities will include, among others:Support P2P process: receiving and processing invoices, assure communication to and from all.Point of Contact for internal and external stakeholders.Support reviewing and assuring proper classification of cost center and accounts on POs.Assist manager and peers on the daily activity.Performing ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as required.Collaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislation.We are looking for a self-starter and enthusiastic individual who will love to learn more about Accounting with a proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business.Minimum Requirements:Recent graduate/finalist in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business.Strong interest in Accounting.Fluent in written and spoken English (mandatory).Positive attitude.Interest in working in a fast-paced international environment.Methodical and attention to detail.Enjoys working with a variety of IT systems.Organized, willing to learn and suggest improvements on existing processes.An enthusiastic and high energy individual with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.Humble and team-player.#J-18808-Ljbffr
