Accounting Intern

Verisure (in Portugal known as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented, innovative, hands-on and passionate Accounting Intern to join our Shared Services Center Team, with colleagues in Sweden, Geneva, Madrid and Lisbon. Working with Verisure is being part of an industry leading world-class company that has a strong entrepreneurial spirit.ResponsibilitiesSupport P2P process: receiving and processing invoices, assure communication to and from allPoint of Contact for internal and external stakeholdersSupport reviewing and assuring proper classification of cost center and accounts on POsAssist manager and peers on the daily activityPerforming ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as requiredCollaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislationWe are looking for a self-starter and enthusiastic attitude who will love to learn more about Accounting with a proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business.Minimum RequirementsRecent graduate/finalist in Finance / Economics / Accounting / BusinessStrong interest for AccountingFluent in written and spoken English (mandatory)Positive attitudeInterest in working in a fast-paced international environmentMethodical and attention to detailEnjoys working with a variety of IT systemsOrganized, willing to learn and suggest improvements on existing processesAn enthusiastic and high energy individual with a strong drive to create a positive work environmentHumble and team-playerAlvará 138C - MAI
