Our Center of Expertise is looking for a Grid Connection Studies Engineer (Trainee) who will have the following responsibilities : Analysis of Grid Codes and Client's technical requirements. Perform Steady-State simulations to ensure compliance with the Grid Code requirements and the correct balance of the Power Plants. Perform Dynamic simulations to ensure compliance with the Grid Code requirements. Perform protection and coordination studies as well as arc-flash studies to ensure the correct operation and safety of the installation and its people. Optimize the Grid Code Compliance process through the development of scripts. Provide technical support on the Grid Connection Studies to all the business lines and geographies. Oversee the Grid Connection Studies when these are performed by external consultants. Requirements The ideal candidate will have/be: Degree or master's degree in electrical engineering – Specialization in Power Systems or Energy. Experience with power system simulation tools (PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD). Experience with programming languages (C, C++, Python).
