WHAT YOU'LL DO As part of our HR Shared Services team, you will lead and be accountable for the successful delivery of HR operational processes across various geographies.
You will focus on continuous process improvement and expanding the scope of services delivered, while maintaining process KPIs and SLAs.
Partnering with Regional HR and other functional teams, you will facilitate, support, and execute organizational procedures and participate in transformational initiatives as needed.
As HR Shared Services grows, we seek a seasoned HR Shared Services Leader for our Lisbon office, capable of scaling with our organization through its transformation.
Responsibilities include, but is not limited to: Lead and oversee all HR operational processes related to the employee lifecycle, ensuring alignment with regional compliances and organizational policies, and provide strategic direction to the team.
Maintain and monitor service level KPIs and SLAs for all processes.
Allocate work effectively to improve team productivity and ensure high efficiency, with mechanisms to measure performance metrics.
Administer and maintain Workday data points to ensure 100% data accuracy and integrity.
Manage and resolve escalated queries within defined timelines and organizational guidelines.
Harmonize HR processes across business units/geographies and identify opportunities for optimization.
Achieve targets and performance standards expected from the Shared Services organization.
Participate in internal and external audits as required.
Develop a future-focused HR Shared Services strategy to evolve the HR shared services function.
Identify and implement service improvement activities using process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking.
Understand business goals and market trends to recommend and influence new approaches.
Represent GS Lisbon within the wider Global HR community.
Continuously evaluate the HRSSC service with key stakeholders and customers, using feedback and operational data to improve overall service.
Establish the HRSSC Lisbon team.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organization Development, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in a global and matrixed environment, providing guidance and influence to leaders.
Experience in managing and leading teams in an HR shared service environment that offers a wide range of services across the full employee lifecycle.
A track record of reliable delivery and continuous improvement in a shared service environment.
Knowledge of HR compliance, administration, generalist activities, and management information (MI) reporting.
Strong understanding of Data Protection legislation and experience managing data requests.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
Ability to influence leaders and build relationships across the organization.
Project management experience to deliver operational excellence.
Comfort working in detail while understanding the big picture.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Slack, Trello, Egnyte, HR Management systems like Workday, and Case Management software is a plus.
Flexibility to support a diverse, international set of stakeholders and willingness to be flexible with office timings.
