A leading international manufacturer specializing in low-voltage electrical distribution equipment is seeking a General Manager (GM) to oversee and expand its operations in Portugal. This is a unique opportunity to manage local production and coordinate the distribution of products originating from Africa to France and across Europe. Their product line includes protective systems (such as differential circuit breakers and surge protectors), connected sockets and switches, and tools for energy management. The company also offers modular solutions for residential and commercial buildings, including cable management systems like GTL (Gaine Technique Logement) and communication enclosures.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all operational activities to ensure seamless performance and efficiency.
Manage local production operations and oversee the dispatch of products from Africa to France and Europe.
Develop and implement strategic plans for the Operations Department in alignment with the company's global objectives.
Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) related to:
Quality
Purchasing
Financial performance
Create and implement action plans to address any deviations in KPI performance.
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations within the team and operations.
Collaborate closely with headquarters to align local strategies with global goals.
