Founded in 2021, the Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) unit will be contributing to
Airbus' global success and play a vital role in Airbus' transformation journey in
standardisation, harmonisation, digitalisation and automation of end-to-end processes
(e.g.Procure to Pay) of all overhead functions. Our target is that siloed ways of working /
processes will be a relic of the past within the AGBS. To drive such culture change we are
looking for candidates with pioneering spirit that make data-driven decisions and take

responsabilidades chave
Main responsibilities:
Ensure management of AGBS general accounting team.
Guarantees tasks completion of the general accounting process (fixed assets, payroll and travail entries integration,...) for legal entities located in North America (US / Canada) in a first step and contributes to the elaboration of relevant Financial Statements
Ensures compliance with the legal regulations (IFRS), the accounting rules and the internal controls, following the standards and procedures defined by the Group experts and process managers.
Defines the accounting structure and principles for general accounting and other financial and administrative transactions related to the process
Responsible for harmonization of processes between the different legal entities of the scope.
Proposes and implements continuous improvement actions on the process and systems.
Customer service and relationship:?
Build and sustain a robust relationship with "customers" ?
Work in close collaboration with "customers" to identify and implement solutions for problems encountered on a daily basis? and according to customer time schedule
Promote adherence to business rules in accordance with the standard Airbus processes and policies?
Project management
Ensure implementation of SAP system enhancements and other financial tools that enhance operational effectiveness
Provide guidance on Accounting methodology
Ensure implementation compliance, segregation of duties and internal controls rules
Support the Group Head of Accounting and other Finance departments in special projects
Actively participate to trans-functional / trans-national projects and tools supporting the given process
competências
Accounting / Finance background and a minimum of 10 years professional experience in a commercial or industrial environment involving tight deadlines.
Leadership experience will be valued.
Experience in Shared Services organizations
Demonstrated leadership in resolving or escalating issue resolution, team building, training and team support.
Good communication skills, rigor, conscientious
Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks, build strong cross functional relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization,
Promote speak-up culture
Systems and tools – Knowledge of SAP system desirable
Languages: English - Advanced Level (capacity to interact with English native speakers), another european language (French / German) would be appreciated
