Position Overview We are building a new Excellence Center in Lisbon (Portugal) to support our recently acquired (SaaS) companies and future acquisitions. The Excellence Center in Lisbon will support HR, Finance, and other functions. The company is currently implementing a new ERP tool (NetSuite) and reviewing the current processes to improve and automate our Finance operations.
We are seeking a Finance System Product Owner to join our team to support the new ERP System as well as the linkage with that ERP System and other (heavy data generating) systems, like Billing and Cash tools. The ideal candidate will have strong business and technical experience in ERP System integration, ideally in an International Finance Organisation, Excellence Center, or Shared Service Center setup. The ideal candidate has the experience to work hands-on, contribute to the setup of the new Center, and is highly motivated to contribute to Continuous Process Improvements.
Key Responsibilities: Key contributor in the implementation of the new ERP System including the transition of existing businesses and the onboarding of future acquisitions as required.Provide first-line support to the Excellence Center members that are using our newly rolled out ERP System and connection with several Billing Platforms and Data Warehouses, including troubleshooting user issues, resolving system errors, escalating complex issues to stakeholders, and working with internal and external experts on this.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and improve the functionality of the systems, including the creation and updating of the overall Finance Systems Roadmap.Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides and training.Assist with special projects and process improvement projects as needed.Qualifications: Must haves: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Systems, IT, and Finance (ideally combined).Relevant experience and track record in an international Finance environment/Shared Service Center setup.Excellent communication skills for both Business and Technical subjects at all levels of the organisation.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.Desired: Chartered Accountant.5 years of NetSuite implementation & operation in a complex global context.Qualification in Business Process Improvements such as Lean Six Sigma, etc.Fluent in at least one other European language.Come as you are Everyone is welcome here.
