Finance Controller

At Company on Technology industry (Contractor), in Lisboa, Portugal Expires at: 2025-03-01 Remote policy: Partial remote Responsibilities and Duties Monthly closing of accounts in SAP with emphasis on quarterly close per company close calendar and closing checklist Balance sheet account review and reconciliation P&L analysis Quarterly and year-end financial schedules and reports to US Quarterly analytical Annual statutory audit process Liaise with outsourced payroll processor on monthly payroll run Comply with local regulations in regards to social security, pension, solidarity tax, withholding taxes, etc.
Review and improve financial and operational processes to be aligned with corporate policies and practices on internal controls, US GAAP, SOX and local accounting and tax standards Corporate tax – tax computation and provision at year-end, annual tax filing, quarterly payments, compliance with local tax regulations     Main requirements Qualifications Degree in Management, Economics, or related areas Minimum of 3 years of experience Working experience with Excel Working experience with SAP (nice to have) Good written and verbal communication skills in English High degree of self-motivation and personal responsibility Strong analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills and attention to detail Self-starter with strong interest in learning and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile and innovative environment Project Duration: We're planning this project for 6 months , with the possibility of extension and/or internalization.
Work Policy: Hybrid set up 2-3 days a week in Lisbon's office.
