SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, supply chain or a related field from a reputable university with a strong academic record. Can manage daily tasks like cash flow planning and reconciliation, while understanding the bigger picture and how different financial elements impact overall company strategy. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance analysis with a proven track record of interpreting data and providing actionable insights. Experience in cash flow management, accounting closures, and financial reporting. Full working proficiency in English and Portuguese. Must be comfortable building financial systems from scratch in an environment that is essentially at Day-0 in finance. Capable of creating new financial sheets and dashboards, possibly using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or ERP systems. Should have strong skills in analyzing numbers and trends and presenting this information clearly and comprehensively to leadership. Experience with ERP Systems, ideally Odoo is a plus. Accounting knowledge. Knowledge of Portuguese accounting standards. Familiarity with Belgian accounting is highly preferred. Understanding of Brazilian accounting is a bonus. At least one strong professional reference. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Ambitious, eager to advance their career. Oversee financial operations. Manage the finances of three companies , ensuring accurate cash flow planning and financial oversight. Cash flow planning and invoice management. Maintain cash flow, process invoices, and reconcile bills in the accounting system. Handle the preparation and execution of salary payments. Ensure accurate and timely month-end closures for all entities. Financial reporting. Prepare and present financial reports to leadership, offering data-driven insights for decision-making. Oversee claims processing, manage credit card payments, and work with banking systems to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
