About the job… The Service Business is crucial in the growth strategy of Alfa Laval Iberica as well as a critical driver for creating an outstanding customer experience. We are looking for a Field Service Engineer in Portugal who will be responsible for executing all services jobs of our service portfolio on specific products, modules, and systems. The main responsibilities will be: Responsible for executing and providing technical support to customer: commissioning, installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining as well as condition monitoring and energy audits on products, modules, and systems at customer site. Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical problems with application and deep product knowledge on customer's site. Create advanced service report on site for the customer and commercial team. Who you are…? A person who has worked in an industrial environment. Able to deal with electrical and automation issues and updates. Familiar with measurement instruments and PLCs. Knowledgeable about rotary equipment such as pumps, turbines, and fluid mechanics. An analytic, solution-driven, and proactive person focused on achieving results and ensuring that key objectives are met. A customer-focused individual, ensuring that customer needs are met. Job requirements... Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or similar is a plus. 5+ years field service experience on electromechanical activities. Languages: Fluent Portuguese, verbal and written; at least intermediate level in English, verbal and written; Spanish knowledge will be a plus. Experience in an international context and across borders with colleagues and customers from other cultures. High level of availability to travel in Portugal and Spain. Residence in Portugal.
