About the job The Service Business is a key component of Alfa Laval Iberia's growth strategy and plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer in Portugal to manage and execute service jobs across our portfolio of products, modules, and systems.
Main Responsibilities:
Perform and support technical services for customers, including commissioning, installation, testing, repair, maintenance, condition monitoring, and energy audits at customer sites.Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical issues with a deep understanding of applications and products on-site.Generate detailed service reports for both the customer and commercial teamWho You Are Experienced in industrial settings, handling electrical and automation issues.Familiar with measurement instruments, PLCs, and rotary equipment like pumps and turbines.Analytical and proactive, with a focus on results and meeting objectives.Customer-oriented, dedicated to addressing and meeting customer needs.What You Know Over 5 years of field service experience in electromechanical activities.Fluent in Portuguese, both verbal and written.Intermediate proficiency in English, both verbal and written.Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.Experience working in an international context with colleagues and customers from diverse cultures.Willingness to travel frequently within Portugal and Spain.Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field, is a plus.What's in it for you?
